HASCO POLICIES

THESE POLICIES APPLY TO ALL ORDERS AND ALL PURCHASERS WHETHER PLACED ONLINE, BY PHONE, BY MAIL, OR BY FAX.

ORDERING INFORMATION

Customer Satisfaction

We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not, you may return your product, with prior notice to Hasco, postage paid, within 30 days from the date on your invoice. If there is no defect in the product, and the return is not due to the fault of Hasco, the return may, at our discretion, be subject to a 15% restocking fee and all shipping charges (Hasco usually waives this charge, depending upon the circumstances). 

To return an item, call us at (866) 66-HASCO to obtain your Return Merchandise Authorization number (RMA#) so that your account may be credited (Or fax us at 936-634-4013) Failure to obtain an RMA# prior to returning any product, or failure to return the product within two (2) weeks from the RMA# issue date, will result in your product not being accepted for return. Please write us a note on a copy of your invoice and let us know why you are returning an item so we can speed your refund or exchange, and serve you better in the future.


                     'On Sale' Items 

Note: Although we do not know of any defects in our merchandise, occasionally an item may have a defect. We will make every attempt not to ship a defective item to you, but we cannot open and inspect every item we ship. Normally, when the item was purchased at our regular retail price, we will replace the item at no charge to the customer. However, due to the fact that most of our current sale prices are well below our cost, these sale items are being sold on an 'as is' basis. We will only replace sale items with major defects. Major defects are those defects which would detract from the value of the item such that it's worth would be less than the sale price at which it was sold. For example, minor dents and crushes in packaging will not be replaced, nor will missing or broken minor items such as hood pins, tethers, track bars, or other small items. Major defects, such as serious paint defects or broken/missing major body/chassis components,  will be corrected.


How to Return a Purchase

  1. YOU MUST call (866) 66-HASCO to obtain a return material authorization number (RMA#). (Or fax us at (936) 634-2998). Write this RMA# on the outside of the box. Items returned for ANY reason without an RMA# will be returned to you without replacement, exchange, or refund.
  2. Use the original shipping box and packing materials to ship the item back to us. Items damaged during return due to poor packaging with no external damage to the packing container will be the responsibility of the purchaser.
  3. Note on a copy of your invoice the reason(s) for return, and state whether you want a refund, replacement, or exchange. Enclose this with your return.
  4. For your protection, return the product via UPS, prepaid and insured, or U.S. Mail, prepaid and insured. Retain your UPS or Post Office receipt until you receive a refund, replacement, or exchange (you must send us a copy of the receipt for the return shipping charges to receive a reimbursement of your shipping charges). We are not responsible for returns not received by us.
  5. Returns must be received within 14 days from the date of RMA, or they will be returned to you without replacement, exchange, or refund.

Order Processing

Orders are accepted through HASCO's online ordering service (preferred), by phone to (866) 66-HASCO, by Fax  to (936) 634-4013, or by mail (U.S. Postal Service). For online orders, a valid credit card must be provided as method of payment at the time of order placement, including the 3 digit code from the card signature panel. Your credit card will not be charged until the time of shipment. We use the Address Verification System on all credit card orders. This system checks whether both the name and address given with the order match those on file with the credit card company. The addresses must match for shipment of your order. Money orders and certified checks will be accepted for payment by mail. Orders for which payment is mailed to us after placement of order will only be held for 5 business days after date of order. Sorry, no personal checks, open accounts, or COD's.

Alcohol and tobacco-sponsored products will be sold only to persons twenty-one (21) years of age or older.


International Orders

All International orders may be subject to a handling fee of $5.00 to cover the costs of submitting Customs paperwork. The actual purchase cost will be submitted on all Customs paperwork. An additional 1.5% of the total purchase amount may also be charged on credit card purchases to cover International credit card fees. All International orders will be shipped by USPS Airmail, insured.

All orders must be paid in U.S. Funds.


Credit Card Processing

Orders are not billed to a credit card until the product is available to ship. It is still required that a credit card be verified as valid at the time of order placement. You must also give us the 3 digit code from the credit card signature panel. Purchasers must provide a correct billing address which matches the information the credit card issuer has on file. Failure to provide the appropriate and accurate credit card information may result in the purchaser's order not being processed and the entire order being placed on inactive status.

Credit cards which are rejected during processing may result in the purchaser's entire order being placed on inactive status. Orders may be reinstated only after authorization of the credit card transaction is received, provided stock is still available.

If payment cannot be charged to a purchaser's credit card, or if any of the purchaser's charges are returned for any reason, including chargeback, HASCO reserves the right to either suspend or terminate the purchaser's right to purchase from HASCO. The purchaser will be responsible for any chargeback fees incurred by HASCO. There will be a $5.00 fee on in-stock orders for all credit card declines due to lack of credit limit or due to your supplying HASCO with incorrect credit card numbers. (NOTE: Our web site does not authorize your credit card at the time of order placement.) This fee will be $10.00 each on all pre-ordered items if approval cannot be obtained or if the order is cancelled by the customer. This fee is to cover our costs to process the same order more than once and will be charged at the time we are provided with a valid method of payment for the order.

A purchaser who has three (3) or more credit card rejections may result in their purchases, and all related purchases, being placed on inactive status until credit-worthiness is re-established. HASCO reserves the right to terminate sales to any purchaser who is found not to have sufficient credit-worthiness to establish credit approval. Reinstatement will require all past debts to be resolved and any future payment of orders to be made by certified check or US Postal money order, as well as payment of a $20.00 processing fee.


Payment

You are responsible to pay all amounts owed to your account, including all applicable taxes (Texas residents only), in accordance with the billing terms in effect at the time the merchandise is prepared for shipment. HASCO reserves the right to change the prices for merchandise sold at anytime.

Sold-Out Orders: Occasionally our inventory as represented on this web site will not agree with our actual inventory and an order will be accepted which is not in stock. In the event that any order may be accepted for any item(s) which is (are) out of stock, the item(s) will be placed on back-order status, if possible. If the item is still available, the purchaser will be notified by E-mail or telephone within 7 days of order acceptance (if an E-mail address or telephone number for the purchaser is on file with HASCO). Otherwise, the purchaser will be notified by U.S. Postal Service mail within 10 days from acceptance of order. If the purchaser wishes to cancel the order, HASCO must receive cancellation notice within 3 days of notice by HASCO to the purchaser of sold out status if such notice was given to the purchaser by E-mail or Fax, or, within 10 days of notice if such notice of sold out status was given to the purchaser by U.S. Postal Service mail.

Pre-orders for special pre-published items are occasionally taken based upon quantities promised by suppliers of HASCO. In the event that reduced quantities are received by HASCO, due to shortages from suppliers or other reasons, those items received by HASCO will be shipped to purchasers based upon date of order acceptance, beginning with the oldest order, until supplies have been depleted. If more quantities of an item are promised by suppliers, unfilled orders will maintain their pre-order status. Otherwise, purchasers will be notified of sold-out status in the method outlined previously for sold-out orders. Pre-orders are by no means guaranteed, as occasionally a manufacturer will cancel manufacture of certain items or limit quantities due to reasons beyond the control of HASCO.


Product Limitation

Periodically, HASCO may offer an item that has limited quantity and high demand. In order that more purchasers can take advantage of these offerings, HASCO reserves the right to implement special restrictions on the quantity of product that a purchaser may purchase.


Pricing

Prices are subject to change at any time and certain merchandise is subject to availability. While we make every effort to ensure the accuracy of information presented by HASCO in any form, an occasional error may occur and we will not be responsible for typographical errors. We reserve the right to make corrections, and apologize for any inconvenience.


Shipping

Purchasers will be responsible for all shipping fees at time of order fulfillment. Shipping and handling charges are usually charged per box in a shipment, not per order. An order containing multiple pre-order items which may arrive at different times may incur multiple shipping charges. Shipping charges posted with your order by our web site are representative only, are not exact, and only apply if all items are shipped together. Actual shipping charges may vary. Typical shipping charges may range from $7.50 to $12.50 on one box shipments for UPS ground, although shipping will occasionally be higher due to weight, size, or insurance. Orders with multiple shipments (or boxes) will incur multiple charges. Whenever possible we will combine several items into one shipment.


Change of Address

It is the purchaser's responsibility to maintain current billing and shipping address information with HASCO. Merchandise that is shipped to an incorrect address due to the purchaser's failure to update HASCO with current information prior to shipment, shall result in the purchaser being responsible for any additional shipping charges and address change fees imposed by the shipping company. Reasonable accommodations will be made to re-route packages to new addresses. However, HASCO will neither be responsible nor issue refunds if the purchaser does not update their shipping information with HASCO.


Additional Offerings

Periodically, HASCO may have the opportunity to provide special offerings to its purchasers which may require that information be sent through direct mail services, email, or fax. HASCO will not be held responsible for any delays caused by delivery from the U.S. Postal Service or other mailing systems which result in the products not being available at the time of the purchaser's receipt of the offerings.


Advertising Policies

Product shown may be an artists rendering of merchandise. Actual product may differ from illustration, including color. Due to advertising deadlines, limited quantities, and previous offers, items may not be available at time of order. HASCO reserves the right to cancel any program at any time due to unforeseen circumstances. Additional restrictions may apply. In the interest of better quality and value, HASCO is constantly improving and updating our product offerings. Consequently, images may sometimes differ from items actually offered.

HASCO reserves the right to make any changes that it deems necessary, without notice, so as to protect the rights and privileges of its purchasers and the integrity of HASCO and its product offerings.

HASCO will not be held responsible for any typographical errors that may result from catalogs, flyers or any other promotional materials in any readable form, including print and electronic means.


Privacy Policy

HASCO respects your rights to privacy. HASCO will only collect information about you which is necessary to process your order or to contact you in the event of a problem with your order. HASCO will not give out any of your personal information obtained by orders placed, catalog requests, e-mails, or any other means to any other person(s) or organization(s) for any reason except by Court order or legal Government order. HASCO also will not use this information for our own sales promotions unless you have registered yourself on our e-mail list. 

We will also secure your credit/debit card information and other personal information from use by anyone other than the owners or employees of HASCO strictly for payment and shipment of purchases made by you or your authorized credit/debit card users. Information entered into this web site by you is protected by a data encrypted secure layer provided by XRamp SSL through our hosting company, Greymane Connections, The Woodlands, Texas.

Product Availability

Pre-Orders: Items that are not in stock at time of order placement will be placed on pre-order status and orders of $20 or less that are partially in stock will be held a maximum of 30 days before shipping.  From time to time, pre-orders will be accepted for special pre-published items. Cancellation of special pre-published preorders by the purchaser or of orders being held for completion of order or any other reason may result in a 15% or $10.00 per item cancellation fee, whichever is less, and possible suspension of the purchaser's pre-order privileges.
